וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֧ם שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל לִקְרַ֥את שָׁא֖וּל בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וַיֻּגַּ֨ד לִשְׁמוּאֵ֜ל לֵאמֹ֗ר בָּֽא־שָׁא֤וּל הַכַּרְמֶ֙לָה֙ וְהִנֵּ֨ה מַצִּ֥יב לוֹ֙ יָ֔ד וַיִּסֹּב֙ וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֔ר וַיֵּ֖רֶד הַגִּלְגָּֽל׃
Poczem wstał Samuel by spotkać się z Saulem rano, ale dano znać Samuelowi, mówiąc: Przybył Saul do Karmelu a oto postawił sobie pomnik zwycięstwa, a zwróciwszy się pociągnął dalej i zstąpił do Gilgalu.
